Welcome to S.T.E.M. is for Me!, a bi-weekly blog for and by S.T.E.M. Teaching Assistants, and TA-tutors, instructors, students, advocates and friends!

The purpose of this blog is to provide a place for students to converse about how they have come to experience S.T.E.M. - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - in their daily lives. We want to change the overall thinking of students who have believed that Math is too hard, or I'll never get this stuff, or  - were intimidated by it whenever confronted with having to take STEM courses.

Articles, interview profiles, and resources are curated primarily by Teaching Assistants and tutors, folks just like you: discovering what it is to become a S.T.E.M. researcher or professional or just a better informed, educated citizen! It's all about tying it all together and individually finding relevance, and purpose through a healthy appreciation for the sciences and mathematics.

Whoever you are, wherever you come from: S.T.E.M. is for you, too!
